Heal & Seal by CHI4Health was formulated specifically to heal and repair the gastrointestinal (GI) lining. The epithelial lining of the gut controls the digestion and absorption of nutrients we get through food. It is also responsible for preventing larger substances like toxic molecules, undigested food particles, undigested proteins, toxins and other unwanted foreign bodies from crossing into the blood and lymphatic system and creating inflammation. Heal & Seal provides the necessary nutrients to support a healthy gut lining and healthy gut mucosa.

Heal & Seal provides 400 mg of deglycyrrhized licorice root extract (DGL) and 75 mg of aloe vera extract, both of which protect and promote the health of the gut mucosa and lining. L-Glutamine
L-glutamine is a main source of fuel for the cells of the small intestines and essential to tissue repair throughout the body. It is especially important to the health of the mucosal lining. Enterocytes use the amino acid to help maintain the health
of the mucosa. In times of stress, when the stomach lining may be under duress, this amino acid is preferred for proper protection and regeneration. Heal & Seal offers a therapeutic 4 gram dose of L-Glutamine for rebuilding the gut lining and digestive health.
Aloe Vera Extract
Aloe vera helps to maintain normal inflammatory balance and has been shown to be specifically beneficial to the gastric mucosa. Aloe vera’s ability to balance stomach acid levels assist in promoting healthy mucus production.
N-acetyl Glucosamine
The acetylated form of glucosamine acts as a mucin precursor and helps to increase the production of healthy gastrointestinal mucus.
Zinc
Zinc is a common deficiency in those having gastrointestinal problems and important to address, as it plays an important role in maintaining the integrity of the gut lining and the tight gap junctions crucial for gut lining health.
