Shipping Policy

Order processing and shipping occur Monday - Friday, excluding United States federal holidays. Orders will be processed within 1-3 business days, depending upon availability, in-store sales, workload, and other factors. Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays. For orders placed after 2 pm EST, processing may not begin until the following day. For example, if you order on Friday, your order may start processing on Monday. 

Please be advised that your payment method will be charged at the time the order is placed.

In most cases, 85% of orders ship out within 24 hours. We may ship your product directly from the manufacturer. We are committed to processing and fulfilling orders as quickly as possible but reserve the right to adjust processing and fulfillment times as necessary. Cincinnati Health Institute does not ship packages on weekends or the following US holidays:

Free Shipping

We offer free shipping domestically on all qualifying orders of $49.00 or more. We decide which shipping method is best for us when free shipping is chosen. Typically, orders are shipped USPS first class, but that is not always the case. The shipping time frames are an estimate, and should not be taken as a guarantee.

Shipping Methods

If you pay for a specific shipping method (USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, UPS SurePost, etc.), we guarantee your order will be shipped using the chosen method. Choosing or paying for a specific shipping method does not shorten the standard processing and fulfillment time. On orders less than $49.00, an active live rate will be available for USPS and UPS.

Orders under $49 have the option to choose a flat rate fee of $6.99 or one of the live rates shown.

Signature delivery is available upon request, and fees may apply. Please contact the office if this is something you are interested in. USPS First Class Mail

If you choose the free shipping option, your order may be shipped First Class. Typically, First Class shipments arrive in 3-4 days; however, it may take 7-10 days, which is normal.

USPS Priority Mail 

2-4 days shipping time after your order is processed. This time frame is an estimate, and should not be taken as a guarantee. This time frame refers to when the package is shipped from our office to the recipient and does not include processing time.

UPS Ground

2-5 day shipping time after your order is processed.This time frame is an estimate, and should not be taken as a guarantee. This time frame refers to when the package is shipped from our office to the recipient and does not include processing time.

FedEx Ground

1-5 day shipping time based on distance to the destination (delivery to Alaska and Hawaii in 3-7 business days) after your order is processed. This time frame is an estimate, and should not be taken as a guarantee. This time frame refers to when the package is shipped from our office to the recipient and does not include processing time. FedEx shipping is not available as an online option. If you would like to use FedEx shipping, please call the office at 1-513-522-2220.

At Cincinnati Health Institute, we understand the importance of receiving your supplements promptly. That is why we will soon be offering SAME-DAY shipping for orders placed before 2:00 PM EST Monday through Friday on select products. Any orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will be shipped the following business day, excluding weekends or holidays. Not all products are eligible for same-day shipping. Same-day shipping simply means a customer’s order will leave our facility the same day it is ordered if it meets the shipping requirements. 



Please note that this is same-day shipping, not same-day delivery. While we can ship the products out on the same day, we cannot guarantee when the products will be delivered. We frequently use USPS and occasionally UPS to ship our packages; the delivery speed depends on those carriers.



Please also note that same-day shipping is not guaranteed and may be affected by unforeseen circumstances, such as product availability, carrier delays or weather, etc. We also offer various shipping options for domestic and international orders, as shipping times may vary based on the destination. If you live locally, we strongly suggest in-store pickup for the quickest access to the supplements you love!

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation sent to the email you provided. The email will contain shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to the selected carrier site to track the order. Please check your spam folder first for communications about tracking before reaching out to us about your order.

Some orders may ship directly from the manufacturer to shorten delivery time. In this case, we will provide you with a tracking number. However, the carrier may vary, i.e., FedEx or UPS.

Please pay attention to your tracking alerts. If your item is listed as delivered and you did not receive it, please reach out to us within 14 days of it being designated as "delivered" by the carrier. We will be unable to help in regards to a misdelivery if you do not notify us in a reasonable amount of time (14 days).

Once the package is in the possession of the carrier and you receive a tracking number, we are no longer liable for lost or misplaced packages. All claims must be filed through the appropriate carrier using the tracking number provided.

Cincinnati Health Institute makes every effort to ensure that our products' availability is listed accurately online. If an item becomes out of stock or on backorder after submitting your order, we will notify you by email indicating that one of your selected items is out of stock. You can cancel your order or wait for your items while the manufacturer resolves the backorder. If your order contains multiple items, we will ship the available items in your order. Once the out-of-stock product becomes available, we will ship it to you as soon as it arrives in our office. If you elect to cancel the unavailable product, you will be refunded for the cost of the product. If you choose to wait for the product to come back in stock, you will be charged the cost of the product at the time of order.

Cincinnati Health Institute ships internationally. Please note that we do not offer free shipping on international orders. Due to certain regulations, we cannot ship specific items from our product line to certain countries. These regulations may not be apparent at the time of order due to the rapidly changing regulatory nature of the supplement industry. We keep up with new restrictions, but ultimately it is up to the customer to ensure the products they order can be shipped into their country. The customer is solely responsible for knowing the import restrictions and regulations of the country they are trying to ship to.

 

Cincinnati Health Institute is not responsible for taxes, tariffs, or duties when shipping internationally. Please check with your country regarding these charges. We are not responsible for any customs clearance issues. No refunds will be given for customs clearance issues. Original shipping charges will not be refunded for international orders if the order does not make it through customs clearance or the customer decides they do not want the order. Please note we do not accept returns for international orders. Please be sure you want the item(s).

If you choose to use a parcel forwarding company or a “third-party” shipping service, we are not liable for any damage, defect, or loss that may occur from the parcel forwarding service/ third-party shipper to your address. We make every effort to pack each item with care to reach its desired destination. We do not offer replacements or refunds for orders or items reported missing or damaged that we believe to have been delivered to a parcel forwarding company or third-party shipping service.

We do not handle any shipping issues once it reaches the address on your order. If the Parcel Forwarding company errs in any way we are not responsible for this elective service.

Return & Exchange Policy

If you are dissatisfied with your order, you can return any unopened items for a prompt refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery. We only accept returns on items delivered up to 30 days prior to the request.

Refunds for items returned will be credited to the original payment method unless the customer requests an in-store credit. The refund will be processed once the item is physically returned to us. The original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. In addition, unless otherwise specified, there is a restocking fee of $6.00 per item. We only cover shipping charges for returns if the return is due to our error. The customer will receive an email once the return is processed and complete. Please note that the return may take time to be reflected through your financial institution.

Cincinnati Health Institute reserves the right to monitor return activity for abuse, excessive returns, reseller activity, or fraudulent behavior. Cincinnati Health Institute has the right to deny returns or exchanges. 

We do not accept returns on opened products. International orders, food items, and orthotics are not eligible for return.

We are sorry your order didn’t arrive as expected. We rarely experience problems with damaged products, but when a problem arises, we are dedicated to resolving the issue appropriately. Please contact our office at support@cincinnatihealthinstitute.com or 1-513-522-2220 for assistance.

 

If you experience any problems with your products upon delivery, please immediately photograph the damaged products and the package in which it was shipped. This step is required to file a claim with the carrier.

 

Please remember that damages will not be refunded for the use of parcel forwarding companies /third-party shipping services for international shipping.

All exchanges must follow the same conditions as stated in our return policy. If your exchange is of the same dollar amount, we will ship out your new product as soon as we receive your return. If there is a price difference, we will ship your new product as soon as we receive your return and collect any additional payment. 

 

You are responsible for a $6.99 flat-rate shipping charge for us to re-ship the exchange item(s) to you.

Cincinnati Health Institute can cancel orders as long as the order has not shipped. Once items are in transit, the shipment must be refused or returned at the customer's cost. Once we receive the shipment back in our office, we will cancel and refund the order minus the restocking fee. Please see the return section.
