Histamine is a major neurotransmitter influencing the brain and the autonomic nervous system. Patients with high histamine have fewer pollen allergies. Subjects with rheumatoid arthritis and Parkinson's exhibit low histamine levels. Low levels are associated with psychiatric disturbances such as hyperactivity, mania, paranoia, and hallucinations.
One to ten drops three times daily under the tongue as directed by a health care practitioner. Consult a physician for use in children under 12 years of age.
