Oleuropein is responsible for most of olive oil’s antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and disease-fighting characteristics. Olive leaf extracts show tremendous promise in preventing or mitigating conditions as diverse as hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, stroke, Alzheimer’s, and arthritis.
Each capsule of Olive Leaf contains 500 milligrams of olive leaf, standardized (17-23%) to contain not less than 30 milligrams of oleuropein.


Clinical Considerations: Current research (Life Sciences, Journal of Applied Bacteriology, The Lancet, Antimicrobial Agents, Chemotherapy, etc.), have reported the effectiveness of the phenolated compounds (oleuropein, rutin, luteolin-7glucoside flavone and hesperidin) found in olive leaf and bud, as effective anti-viral and anti-microbial agents. Oleuopein has also been reported to protect low density lipoprotein (LDL) from oxidation. Animal studies have demonstrated that olive leaf extract will produce dilation of coronary circulation with a resulting decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
