Protech Control Wide Full by Powerstep has been helpful in relieving the discomfort and stabilizing the progression of my bunion. I have pronating arches. This is a high quality orthotic similar to what a podiatrist would recommend or sell, one step shy of a custom orthotic but much better than your typical mass-market arch support. My podiatrist whispered to me that I could find a product like this if I looked online carefully and thereby save the markup he would charge selling a similar product. I look for wide shoes to minimize compression of the toes. I typically replace the removable sole/arch insert in my sneakers or shoes with this product. I wasn't sure if I should order the regular size or the wide. I'm normally a 2E and these said for 3E and up. They were a perfect fit. Only wore them one day so far, but for 8 hours my feet didn't hurt!
